Exclamation GTX285 Insulation by Team Hawaiian Havoc

Supes had Rogue210 over for a noobfest gpu getto insulation endeavor yesterday/today to try and compete in the single card category of the OCA2009LCC. I'll let the photos tell a story but I gotta tell yah, we're having a blast "breaking" in the card for DICE sub-zero runs, lmao.

Great Work Rogue210!!!!! cool2

Theres the pic's !!!

I spoke to soon on the other thread.

Great job on the insulation you two !!!!

I like that eraser all over the back, good job !

I use blue painters tape and cover the pot with it. Then 2 layers of Armaflex tape insulation. That stuff is very sticky and hard to get off. But the blue painters tape makes it pretty easy to remove the Armaflex and it comes out very clean.

Exclamation Need some help please!

Installed the questionable GTX285+insulation. Rampage Extreme+E8600

Well, now I don't know wtf's going on, fired up the system, everything worked fine, no video corruption nuttin. Went into the bios, changed a few settings, hit save and reboot, she never rebooted. No pops, crackles or anthing.

Power down, reset the cosmos and now she goes on for a hairs ass of a second and shuts down by itself. Switched out GPU's, same thing. Switched out psu's same thing. Switched bios jumpers, same thing.

In the process of switching cpu's now.

Anybody got any ideas, suggestions, prescriptions or declaration of death certificates??????
