I fixed the mb i think it didnt like the wires to the power button the way i had it.... switched them around now it boots

major user FAIL

But got a ? is it okay to cover the area around the socket with eraser showen in the pic ?

i there there are some dead p5b deluxe on ebay..that you can use the heatsinks....they do get warm...almost 300watts from the wall...idles at 90w from the wall...

here's my notes....with low vcore..cb is there...vcore set to 1.7v....cb disappears....

have a cb boot profile
and a cb_gone boot profile

and yeah i got setfsb

wifes home and its at 1.75v max right now so need to turn down the vr for more power
