Default LGA775 Celeron 440 - cannot raise fsb?!

Hi guys,

I'm working on uniting the PCM05 globals and I'm testing a Celeron 440 with my Gigabyte P45-UD3P for the 1x core category (Rom please don't kill me hahahahha).

The problem is setfsb shows I max out at 375fsb... I also tried to use the ETuner and I cannot raise the Celeron past 375fsb?! Well I need at least 450fsb to get #1 global so what should I do, is this a board limitation?

Even using a different clock generator to allow raise past 375fsb it will stay at 375fsb no matter what...

Click on customize tab and than on lower the number at PLL M. Wile you doing this you will see your slider button moving back so you have more increase space. I hope this is what you mean! Good luck!

Hey man thanks but actually after 375fsb it stops raising, you see on my screen shot the setfsb is at 406 and real is 375 (look cpuz).

Hmm

What BIOS you using? Have you loosened PL settings or tried a different strap?

Have you tried booting at 401 and then running SETFSB and see if it works?

Bios is F6, maybe I should try to flash with an older BIOS like F2?

I tried everything and it's just stuck there once clockgen passes 374fsb.

The board will not boot above 300fsb. I'm starting to believe on board limitation but that's so weird same board can take a Quad to 550fsb...

Might just be a dud chip? a core2 arch that wont boot at +50% OC is kinda weak

Ok yes maybe, if you guys have any Celeron 440 that can do 4500 + let me know!

I just got the 2x Global Cup back and now I want 1x and 3x before I start 4x and the 980Gt.
