Default Freeman's Box

Hey whats up, it's T77!

I have owned my Tempest for about 3 years now and it has come a long way from a stock case. I have been a huge fan of Valve's Half-Life story since 1998 and I have always wanted to build a rig in honor of Gordon Freeman. Tell me what ya think?

This is where I dork out when I'm not bmx'ing

Mods I have performed:

Cable management, painted interior case satin black/Orange, sound dampening on base and side panel, cut holes in motherboard tray for the 8pin power connector, backplate and another hole behind drive bay, cut front and back fan grills out for better airflow, cut hole on bottom so I could flip the psu, modded white cathode kit to orange color, replaced the blue leds from front bezel/hdd status light to orange leds, Soldered orange leds in the 2 front AC. Ryan fans, added H.L.2 decals,

Do you see the face?

I wrapped a transparent orange adhesive film around each cathode.

...

Your is very prettied up. Not comparing... just showing I had that desk too and made the most out of it (bottom section was for storage drives. PSUs. HDDs and ODDs. Top section was for mobo obviously.

My 2nd desk mod

lol! I modded my desk as well, I cut the last 7 or so inches off the right side so it would fit next to my main desk in another room. Your desk mod is much more impressive though.

No way homey, yours is more aesthetically pleasing fo sho.

Mine was just an ancient extension of being frustrated on being confined by cases. That was an age old athlon XP rig lol

Would like to see your mod though? Mine was separated from the wall because of a PCI wireless card.

All I did was cut it shorter, here is an older pic where you can compare it to yours.
