I'm pretty sure this is a locked multi cpu which means you'll need to break thru blck barriers to run faster than the unlocked crowd.

Who knows what intel's pricing will be next year.

the i920 was a perfect fit for a lot of people. and once the DO was released also let those chips compete at a very high level for $ 200.00

I would have to say IMO the i920 DO stepping will fit into the catagory of best bang for the buck in the i7 era

I hope Intel makes one that is affordable to the masses in the i9 era as well
