Any particular brand I should look at? And are they easy to hook up HDMI to a TV if needed?

I've done that with several tv's using an hdmi-dvi cable. For brands NEC is probably the best monitor maker, Samsung and LG are both good though. The DELL ultra sharp lcd's are pretty nice but look a bit washed out IMO.

Well.... I bit the bullet and ordered the XHD3000

I was really impressed when I saw it in the store awhile back and I haven't seen a monitor that grabbed my attention like that since.

BTW Nip, I think if I remember right that contrast ratio went way up if using HDMI, I could be wrong.

Thanks guys! I'm still getting the same in Vantage but haven't had time to play with a game yet.... I don't think it will be a problem.
