Yes boot order changed after installation.....freshly formatted drive, and freshly burned copy of TinyXP. I selected option #2.

I tried it with only the tinyxp drive installed and with my 7 drive hooked up. I set it to boot from the tinyxp drive.

Try physically removing any other drives you may have hooked up to the mb and use the TinyXP only. Were the other drives with the Win7 OS present when you installed TinyXP?

This has just about got to be something on your end ny - TinyXP rev9 is about as reliable as anything out there...works when nothing else does. Wipe it/long formatt and re-install...if that doesnt do it I would suspect the hdd you are using. Do you have another to try?

I got it now. Apparently BOOTMGR got installed on the 7 drive or something. I reinstalled with no other drives hooked up the 2nd time.

Good deal - That's why I like to disconnect other drives when installing an OS...I mistakenly erased a storage hdd once and have never forgotten it lol.

I wanted it so when I start the system it asks me which OS to use, but that didn't happen. I must manually select via the BIOS.

EDIT: It's good this way.

It will do that only if you have dual boot on a single hdd.

Always a good idea. I should have done that before I ever installed that Virus Se7en totally effed up my file permissions on my storage drives.
