Just another tip that I found while benching those chips.

As you can see they came from Wired Stuff, or most did anyway. I have no idea where they came from, or how long they sat idle. That place is a recycling place to they came from just about anywhere.

When I would start to bench a new chip jammimg the OC and vcore up right off the bat was not a good idea. What I did was start them out at stock at run Prime for a few hours, then slowly start upping the OC. I would get the best results doing it that way.

On my Chilly1 Phase they hardly touched the temps on it as they have little heat output. I do not know what the cold bug on those chips is.

The slow Vcore thing is very interesting.

I'm a tinsy bit frustrated today. Since my last session didn't yield the clocks I was looking for and towards the end of the previous session I noticed that it was a bit more stable with more air flow over the nb, I decided to rip the passive h/s and slap a nb dice pot on it. Well, after lotso prep and picking up yet another load of DICE. I have a non-video board. I reversed the simple v-mod on the gpu and tried everything to get some video going but no-joy. I'm gonna look into another agp card and possibly another s478 board so these many chips and hw boints don't go to waste.

Here's a couple shots from today's unproductive setup.
