Any idea whata 6850 would pull? I checked out hte calculator and I couldnt change the video card.
Interesting idea.. if it nets me $100 with a 4.3GHz 2600 sandyB... I would say it mets out i my favor. once the blocks drop to 25 (soon) that halves income. and income is purely based on on an arbitrary value that is being inflated by bitcoin users.
Having said that..
What the hell is it really? My PC is cranking out hash values to get coins.. umm. What are they actually computing?
Free money for CPU cycles and I have no clue what they are actually doing?

A 6850 can do upwards of 250Mhash/s and at current market price of *18.00USD per bitcoin...
Revenue per 1 month time frame: 316.79 USD
Revenue minus power costs: 305.83 USD
Net profit per 1 month time frame: 305.83 USD
Blocks will not drop to 25 coins till 2012 or when 250,000 has been reached (currently only 126,000 have been generated in 2 years)
on a side not ALL currency value is inflated by its users.... unless it is backed by something like Gold or other precious Fixed commodity
Your PC is generating MD5 hashes for an AES 256bit encrypted "block" in an attempt to generate a mathematical proof of a blocks existence

Any help with setting up multiple random GPU's on a single board. IE
1x4850 1x6970 1x4850 on same board

You need to run the same series together and cant mix them because of driver support, the 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx cards all use different AMD APP SDK versions and prevent the driver from working if you mix generations...
But you can run your 2X4850 on same board, and the 6970 on a diff.

I wrote a guide a while back on OCN. It got deleted/trolled to hell by mods, and eventually got deleted by those trolls.
Then i moved it to my blog here:
