As promised here is my little setup.
Here is what is left of my Hi Speed PC tech station.

I have drilled various holes for various platforms. I hammered mobo standoffs into the holes.

I have a full mobo length sheet of closed cell foam or whatever it is called.

Use plenty of eraser on both the front and back of mobo. Like I said I use it from the 1st RAM socket to the mosfets and from the top of the mobo to the north bridge. On the back side I would at least do it where the socket is if not from the 1st RAM socket to the mosfets and from the top of the mobo to the north bridge. Try to stuff a blue shop towel in the 1st RAM socket.

A 1/2" and a 1/4" works perfect for in-between the pot and socket.

Underneath the foam pieces you will need some blue shop towels, which I don't enough of at the moment or else I would use it. I cut it to the same size as the foam piece in pic.

Mount pot and then I fold two blue shop towels in half and wrap the pot holding them on with two rubber bands.

That is how I do it now but I am sure it will be tweaked, twisted and change of the course of my overclocking career as I am always looking for bigger and better ways of doing things. Really thinking of going the vaseline route as I am tired of eraser. Hope this helps.
