meh its all speculation brothers.... it is a beastly ass card with lots of performance... and when the non ref models drop they should be even better

yeah i know just sucks where getting screwed paying premium price for a mid range card

this is why i cant bench global i wont have a home to live in

but if they came out with "780" i think AMD would quit like they did on desktop cpus

oh well ill just get older high end cards and dont have to pay premium price...

like my 7970 hasnt been juiced and the time i get to put it on ln2 there outdated

It's a top performer when its 2GB vram is not hindrance (very rarely) and its priced right up there with the most expensive cards available.

Sounds like a "high end" card to me.

Not in that way.

The 780 will make the 680 look like a 560 Ti in comparison to the GTX 580.
The difference between the two will be massive ( those two should've been 660 Ti & 680 ).
Just bear with the numbers:
48 ROPs vs 32 ROPs
128 TMUs vs 128 TMUs
2304 SPs vs 1536 SPs
384bit vs 256bit
3GB vs 2GB
+ some compute features unique to the 780 ( GPGPU )

Can't tell when they'll launch it.
Could be anytime this year.
Could be June... July... August... September... October... November... aaaand... December.
