WD has an excellent point. We bought our condo from a builder who was known for quality work and everything was fine. Several condo buildings in the area were built by another company known for shoddy construction and they had nothing but special assessments to constantly fix one thing or another.
100+ year old homes have passed the test of time.

Ours was gut renovated in 1995 so all the apliances and mechanical things are up to current grade. Best of both worlds

And the hardwood floors and trip are to die for
