Talking IE8 so far so good

I've been running IE8 on my son's laptop for the last few days and so far so good. It seems snappier and quicker than IE7 and I've not run into any compatability problems or crashes so far. All my sites and logins function correctly too.

How about web mail when your trying to reply to an email? In the windows 7 beta you couldn't type out an email cause it was buggy as all get out.

Yeah I liked it. I tried the RC, beta one or somethin like that. Only complaint I had was in the address bar when I click the drop down box to look at previous entries, I would try to click one and I would accidentally delete it as the "x" was wight below the drop down tab. I hope that made sense. Maybe they fixed it in the finalized version. I do wish they would put a spell check in it like FireFox.

webmail works flawlessly so far. drop down history has a delete icon to the far right so its fairly easy to avoid.

Well I'm about to fly to Microsoft hq and kick Bill Gates in the sack. I can't get links to open up for anything. Even if I right click and select "open in new window" the shit don't work.

Did you leave on all of the shitware that is by default enabled? I've been using it without issue but I disabled all the add-on crap.

That figures.... It comes with a bunch of forceware huh? I hate things that install a bunch of crap without asking and crap that tries to take over your whole puter.

I tried playing around with some of the security settings, but I don't have time for that shit. I just want something that works. The last thing I wanna do is have to tweak my damn browser. I went back to IE7. BTW the linky thing was mostly a problem on forum code, but it wouldn't open the window to see the pictures of a product on newegg either.
