Anyone else see how the Vertex OCZSSD2-1VTX120G SDD went up $100 at the egg? WTF!!! This was one of the SDD's I was looking at getting. From $325 to $420!!! Better off gettin it somewhere else now.

Just write them a nasty email about it, they tried that on that new AMD chip we were looking at and I emailed them and the price went back down LOL. But that was only a $10 difference.... I don't know about this one.

Once I have a few more weeks of use from my ssd's I'll write a review on them, I got a pair of the 30gb vertex drives for my os and installed my games to my raptors in a seperate RAID0 array. So far they seem to be good but I would suggest that you ignore the majority of the black magic bs that people have come up with for speed tweaks as I think some of them do more harm than good. Enable write caching and advanced performance only. Mine have been through numerous (more than 50) crashes now due to COD WaW involving hard shutdowns each time and still haven't missed a beat.
