Fudzilla, techPowerUp! and others like them are reporting a Corsair breaking the DDR3 record but lets bypass them and taking you directly to the forum where the info is posted!

WOW! Those are the sticks I was thinking about when I get my i7 rig, even though I know they probably won't perform like that.

Probably true, but who said that was stable? 1000mhz or less with tight timings would do you better justice anyways. Still sick mhz though.

If you chose to get these then get the cas 8's but I would really recommend you the cas 8 Perfect Storms.
