Default Voltage For 5870

I put a Trad2 GTX on my 5870, and still cant get 1000 core to work. Ive tried 1.2 and 1.25v, and as soon as I hit 3D it artifacts then freezes and needs a reset.

Witchdoctor was benching it up to 1040 in Vantage. Any ideas whats up? Using a Corsair HX1000, and temps are about 60C in games. The VRMs hit about 75C. They have the small sinks that come with the Trad on them, but its got two 92mm fans blowing through the sink which should cool them enough.

I ran vantage 950core stock volts. Tried 1.2 so far at 980, and display driver stops responding at the end of the second test.

If its the little tiny thing next to the ram that was being cooled by the stock cooler, I put a little sink on it. I had to cut the sink in half to fit, but its on there still.

I guess not having a side case fan sucks lol. The spot on the side panel for one is blocked by my res. I took the panel off and held a fan by the card, and passed at 980 core (990 failed again). Also noticed one of my ram sinks fell off. Was a bitch trying to put a new one on with needle nose pliers and a nife

if the sinks are falling....you're overheating...same stuff with my modded cards... put a tiny amount of superglue on a corner...its easily removeable.
