Hey i had some issues runng quad sli and what not but i found a pretty easy fix for gaming! U can try it! nvidia control panel>manage 3d settings> global tab scroll down to power managment mode and put it on performance instead of adaptive. In alot of my games during different video scenes the cards were downclocking because it was just a movie part of the game so they would downclock then upclock again when its time to play. In batman aa it was the worst they wouldnt upclock fast enough so the single gp that was clocked properly got shitted on with the full load causing low fps and driver crash. So performance will make it where anytime u open a 3d app all cores stay fully clocked untill the 3dapp is closed out !!! In ur case since u have 2 gpus might be happening to the one as well where i had three cores downclocking.
