Ummm...Real-temp says -7s....when I run prime it dabbles into the low single digits.

I have Tiny7 installed on this HD.....but I installed it on the CHIV and it just happens to work. Shall I reformat before I go any further?

New motherboard = fresh os installation with chipset & display drivers

Save your memory tweaking until last...you will be fighting on too many fronts if not.

I wanted to see 100% load temps. Prime comes to mind. I've never checked the load% while running wprime. I will now though.

Going to reformat that drive right after I eat.

hey bro, played with it a bit, at -30c or so this will get you 5ghz as a base for cpuz benching turn qpi mode back to fast for other benching. Boot 220x21 and up in windows.

Then just go from there, boot up raise clocks 1bclk at a time and see where it freezes.....add 2or3 pci-e mhz see if it helps...add some vtt see if it helps....add some vcore see if it helps....then add some more pci-e mhz etc. 225 to 238 bclk was a matter of raising pci-e from 108 to 115.

You need eist enabled for turbo to be enabled for x21 multi.

I'm pretty sure I had it just like you showed earlier Splave. Is the multi supposed to stay at turbo speed or 20 somehow?

QPI PLL a lot of boards do not have... when they do have it and it is not called QPI PLL it is called IOH VCCA 1.1v

IOH/ICH IO voltage is PCIE voltage. Some baords like EVGA link them. Some split it up as IOH PCIE and ICH pcie and some only offer IOH PCIE.

Sucks not everyone uses the QPI PLL because for me that had the greatest impact on BCLKing in my n00bish experience. (Then again the R3F didnt really need it, it would run up to 220BCLK on all auto settings :S) Higher it probably was needed.. I managed to hit an unstable 237 on it. But really anything past 222ish was unbenchable.

QPI slow link mode is only a good idea for CPUZ or if it allows you to jump to 5GHz. It seemed to have about a 7-8% impact on performance when I was trying the superpi 8M challenge a while back. (went from 1'30" to 1'35" IIRC). Try it I keep seeing people recommending it, but there must be something else to it then just enabling it.
