Default Biostar IP45 corrupting BIOS from RAM ???

Hi guys,

I had theese bad problems with my biostar IP45 mobo. It wont take on stick of my Crucial Ballistix 2x1 667 Micron D9 based set. I have to bump up the voltage... Well to be more precise i had to beacuse now the mobo is second time on RMA. When i saved the settings i got a post sign that was nowhere in the manual. Clearing CMOS and leaving the board alone didnt help. So i took it to the store for an RMA. Today they called me that the problem is in my sticks that they corrupt the bios. Is this even possible ? Heck i could imagine a broken stick with a short to damage the slot or a mobo it self but the BIOS ? Are they just making a fool out of me or is this possible ?

If it doesn't OC, it's broke.

If it's not working, put more volts in it.
