[Neuromancer]

Well this just arrived from Oklahoma Wolf (jonnyguru reviewer)

Was all excited thinking I was getting a high quality PSU. Now that is out of the package, and I have it in my hands I am a little worried.

It uses I assume a 140 mm fan for cooling, and the PSU itself is only marginally larger than it. The bundle of wires coming out of it, all neatly bundled up is the same size as the main body!

Something I have learned in many years of building computers is, if the PSU feels like an empty coffee can (IE very lightweight) it is probably safer to use the coffee can The wires easily double the weight of this unit but I was really surprised to see how heavy this unit is not. Considering the high marks corsair units receive I can only surmise that the must use some very high quality components to build a PSU this powerful AND this lightweight.

Do not misunderstand me, this is no coffee can PSU, but it definitely is no Enermax Galaxy either (weight wise I mean).

Finished my yard work for the day, so going to start cutting the wood for my new case Will pop the Corsair unit into my bench station tonight for a little looky loo and see if it helps clock up the i7 (just going to run the 2400XT in it though as I am using the 4890 for my main rig ATM.
