gigabyte had a chip for controlling vgpu......on the ES cards that andre and some guys used

retail gpus don't have it...

i suggest not buying these cards....as you won't touch andre's es card numbers...

Anyone else sick of the "bait and switch" MSI and Gigabite have been pulling with these non-reference cards?

yea its absolutley total bs. I am totally pissed off about it. Nvidia is taking the same turn. Seriously. Guys like us go and spend a grand or more every time a new gpu comes out thinkin we're gonna get screamin hardware and we get totally screwed.

These manufacturers are ruining the very thing they are trying to promote. It's like they think we are completely retarded. Shame shame on Gigabyte and MSI (for their fm comp). This discourages the non sponsered guys from wanting to play the game.

Somebody needs to link a gigabyte rep to this thread...

I for one am not going to buy in to the gigabyte and msi bs. Those rat bastard companies will not get any of my money... Or my customers anymore.

Gigabyte is on probation with me right now. When I price up builds for family and such, they usually include a gigabyte mobo. Not any more; not for a while. MSI is very very close to being on that list too.

I never usually buy either lightning excluded. Im an eVGA/ASUS boy most of the time.
