I have not tried it on the last few gens of hardware. I think on 939 took about 45 minutes for a 80gB hdd about 60-70% full at high compression. Might have actually been HD speed limited TBH

Modern systems should rock right through it...

On my SSD's a full Raid backup takes maybe 6 minutes, something like that... 256gb of SSD. I back up to a 1TB drive so I have plenty of space for backups.

But the trick to everyday stuff is use the Incremental Backup, it only backs up stuff that has changed and keeps it on a seperate file. That goes much faster for everyday stuff and saves a ton of HD space.
