yea Eddie Van Halen is notorious for those rippin licks. What a guitarist. had a lead guitarist in our band back in the day that could just rip him off so good you'd swear Eddie was right there.

first song I learned was "Little Red Riding Hood" by Sam the Sham and the Pharoah's

IIRC Smoke on the water came out when I was in college

Lynard Skinner isn't difficult except using only 1 guitar player it don't quite sound the same. Maybe when i get the recording stuff and the looper hooked up.. maybe :
