Ebay does have some odd schemes I will admit, but if you really want to sell something and reach a lot of perspective buyers they just can't be beat. I recently sold my Shovelhead on Ebay for $7500. I listed it for seven days and it sold in five...not likely to happen on any forum if you know what I mean.

Not bad on bike under $200 in fees for 7500 price?
(course PP got you for 70 cents plus 3 percent too. )
Ebay is evil cuz, they do crazy stuff. Like for certain items charge more than 10%!!! plus, ebay started charging fees on shipping.
WTF?
As for paypal.. Lots of horror stories there. I been a seller for like 6 or 7 years though had two problems, one was my fault... buyer did not wait, (i packaged poorly and it got smashed)
Scond time the buyer said a board did not work. wnet on to tell me it was the third boardin a row they got that didnt. *ding... not the board. I told him I would help him RMA but since I did not offer a return policy for nonDOA items I would charge a fee. I could also help him RMA his broken stuff. Got mad and gave me my first negative feeback *sigh.
Guys who ebay/pp sided with? Not the guy that filed 3 charge backs infront of me...lol
PP is nice, but everytime they raise prices, you have to raise prices to list through them
the fees for shipping is ridiculous though. they are trying to protect the buyer for "i dont like it" returns and want a full refund including shipping. Paypal has not for a long time, allowed you to get fees back unless you do full refund. bastards. (same company so of course, bastards..)
EDIT: I just hate eBay more than PP
