I sat Intel/AMD. I'll buy my AMD mob beginning of next week and tweak with it as well as my Sandy. Dunno if you should put AMD at 4.5ghz. Dunno how many can hit 4.5ghz on air/water. Maybe 4 or 4.25ghz?

just for grins I ran SP32 on a just installed Win7 SB rig, air cooled, no tweaking, full Aero and the whole 9 yards. (anyone know where the saying the "whole 9 yards came from??).

Anyway, after I started it, I took out the garbage, painted the living room, refinished the hardwood floors on the second floor, and watched Schindlers list on DVD. It was almost finished when I looked at the computer again

Yeah I think Intel should at least be 4.5ghz but AMD 4.0ghz. 4ghz on Intel you won't even have to jack with volts.

Could prolly really go like a 4.25ghz on AMD and 4.75ghz on Intel. At least make it a little more challenging but keep it within the air/watercooling range.

Run an AMD processor.
