My perspective George is it will not matter much, as stated earlier; there will be 1000 to take his place.

Personally, I am glad they got the bastard; a good friend's dad was killed in one of the towers....

So as it may be a bit personal for me. I have to think the general population will see some finality to this disaster

This will not change anything however, As long as the American government feels it necessary to place American values on other cultures we will have the same set of problems.

I was pleased with the revenge until two things happened. First, Obama's speach made me vomit for most of the night. If you listen to his account of the whole thing, he took the head shot himself pretty much. Sure he gets some credit for being the sitting president when it happened, but in reality he had near zero to do with it. We owe thanks to CIA spooks and our wonderful Navy Seals!! Second, I began dry heaving again today when I find out that his body was treated with muslim honors!! WTF is that shit? Son of a bitch kills thousands. Many of which jumped to their death from 100+ stories high. He gets treated with honor? That shit just shows you how over-done the whole enlightened period is. Political correctness needs to go. Bastard's head should be on the flag pole at the white house.

As far as signifigance.... Well I think it is signifigant to the radicals in many ways. Not as signifigant if we could have done this the first year though. Will it stop the violence? Hell no. Does it ring a little bit of fear accross the radical muslim world? It sure as hell does! They lost an icon. Imagine if General Patton or in England's case, Winston Churchhill, was killed/captured during WWII. The fight would still go on but morale sure would have changed.
