my most expensive board was the one I sent you. $300 a year ago.

I remember you got yours up and running, prices have seriously gone down. The UD5 build cost me around $540 and that was only Mobo+CPU+Ram

Hopefully i can do better then 4.7ghz on the Classy, i would settle for 4.8ghz benchable on water

At the time I got that board the i7 920 and the 2x1GB DDR3 1333 for $750.

Board - $300
CPU - $300
RAM - $150 (over paid at Tiger Direct to get rig going)

the RAM was the PI's right?

Amazing the i7 920 is about $11 cheaper than when it came out. It's been a year already, slightly over actually.

Yeah most I ever spent was for the E758 ($200 shipped). Almost twice what I paid for the MSI platinum ($125)

Once the classies fall below $300 (they are close) for a used one.. I may have to sell off my AMD stuff and go back to Intel just so I can also participate in 3D benching
