You can get the little version for $100 less

If you plan on running multi GPUs though the 1200 is a smarter buy

Neuro that 850w from what I understand is junk and has tons of ripple noise compared to other 850w units. I'd prolly go with the new ST850w or corsair HX850w before looking at that. My memory could be off though. I still think a quality 1200w is a great investment for 99% of the members on this forum.

Gets a 9.5 outta 10 from JG... Thats pretty impressive.

But yes the 1200W is a more forward thinking unit.

I stand corrected bud. Maybe it's the 1000w unit or I'm still off. Crap there is too many PSU's to keep up with on the market.

Happy to help Chuch

Only issue I have with the Corsair units is their plugs are a little over sized. My first corsair unit, the 550TX I thought I was going to break my video card trying to get the PCIE connector put in.

My second unit the 950HX I did break my sunbeam fan controller trying to get the 4pin connector installed.

Once connected though it ran very solid.
