Default 920 dice session

First off for starters this is my second ever Dice session so dont bash to hard.

I7 920 C batch dice, 5870 on stock hsf, was suppose to be water but the card wont post with the block on so I moved on. Evga Classy 759 S22D bios, stock hsf.
Detroit A/C pot -59 is all it can hold . Super Talent Chrome 2000mhz Ram.

Cool air for the 5870

I was hoping more from this session but sometimes it dont work out, Hopefully I can get a colder solution soon. Im going to inspect this waterblock card issue in the next day or so.

Cheers

Looks pretty good I am certainly jealous.

Might want to rerun 3d01 though. Your score should be up in the 90+K area with those clocks

Chances are your multimeter is reading wrong as I had the exact same one and it misread by 12 degrees or so. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how everybody else was getting temps of -65 to -70 on DICE but I couldn't. I tried everything but no luck. It wasn't until I bought my UEi DT302 that I realized that the other was misreading. -59 was the lowest I achieved on that multimeter. With the UEi I was getting temps -70 to -75.

Nice runs though!

Yeah you said it wasnt bad for the money which its not. It works great for the chiller or just an Idea of temps. I seen 60 for a split second when I had the pc off an was trying to get it colder but no dice lol

Nice work !

DICE can be tricky. What I do is put a fair amount of Acetone like you did, bust up that DICE into a powered and add that slowly. It will foam up a lot at first.

When it gets down to temp you can start added a bit more.

Using big pieces of DICE does not really cool that well and clogs up the tube, power works best.

I do put a few small pieces of DICE in when the temp gets down but not very much.

I have only used the F1 & Tek Wide Mouth for DICE and its pretty hard to do with those because of foaming issues.
