Default OCD Noob i7 runs on DICE

FInally had a proper day off to myself and decided to increase some of my clocks. Obviously I'm still very noobish on the i7 platform but it was a fun, long session. I didn't come away with any definitive behaviors and believe I'm missing some secret sauce past 5ghz. Don't tell me what it is, I'm a stubborn bastard and I'll figure it out tonight during session 3.

Here are some random benching to find out whats what.

I did alot of benchin in the 200blck side of things but can't seem to find the right combo for alll around bench stability. When I do, I'll move onto the 3D benches.

Vcore requirements change so much between different combos of voltages. Its interesting to say the least.

Looks to be a very nice chip you have there. I heard the even mult. on these chips blows. You might try odd ones.

Any particular reason why? Just Curious, that's all.

I was speaking of even multipliers. Dunno why they don't work but I get my theory from the many of threads and posts on them and the overclockers reporting of them not playing too well. Multpliers that I have seen work well are 21, 25 and 29.

hmmm weird. Example, on my i7 920, I use a 20x with turbo enabled for 21x. Is that still considered even, or its considered 21x?
