Default Feeling the urge...

Again!!!

Going to hold off trading my classified to try and get one or two good DIce bench sessions out of it, I never got to use it... Was thinking of scooping a Koolance V2 in the next couple of weeks... and a decent AMD chip for my gaymer. And pulling the i7 back to what it was designed for... getting Boints

Maybe trade it up to a 930 later even though there are not many boints in it...

Where can I go from their limiting myself to DIce and $200 or lower CPUs?

Looks like P55 and AMD is LN2 only need apply... I had trouble cracking top 100 even with LN2 SO many people have gone before... I was good on that setup with air or water, but cold is a whole new monster.....

Looking at... October 1st to start really getting back into it. (budget wise) Got my divorce coming up real soon, and my TV needs replacing so those are first. Worked out a child support agreement that was surprising. Much cheaper than the "I need money!" " Okay here you go" arrangement we have now Of course she is getting a raise and will be pulling almost 6 figures with overtime soon so... guess there is that as well.

So.. hold out for X68? Or is there anything older I am missing that is good with DIce temps?

Thanks Bros!

+1... 920 + dice = win-nuggets.... tons of fun and boints a plenty...

For future benching on a budget, I'd take a hard look at s775 chips. Boints galore in that area still... a plus is that if you somehow land a good e8500 or 8600 you can really nail some 3dmark01 action.

I knew you couldn't hold out for ever.

No I knew it was just a hiatus. Just burned out with some personal shit and plus lots of bad RMA/trades and stuff just built up. Had about 4 paypal claims in the last 4 months... which is 3 more than I have had in the last 3 years :( Everything is back good as knew.. And once I get a review of this corsair SSD done I will be selling it and grabbing a second ocz vertex2 and grabbing some massive pcmark boints as well

Oh that reminds me, I owe shannon a nob job for the super duper EVGA RMA service. Holy crap.. I so wish they made ATI gpus...

yeah, evga + ati would be pretty epic. If they were to go back to making a few amd boards, that would be nice too...

Well sweet look like I got the perfect monitor for benching. my 3 yr old screen got a big fat line of dead pixels in it now. Positivity
