@ 9-10-9-27 they might be elpida. Just a guess though. I wish these ram manufacturers would get back to lower latencies. 7-7-7- or 7-8-7 2000mhz would be really nice right about now. I really could care less about that extra 133mhz if the timings have to come out too far. Hell, my 8-8-7 2000mhz Mushkies can probably hit the speed/timings of those.

When Sandybridge comes along, we'll all be on the hunt for lower lat instead of more mhz on RAM... just like the ddr2 days

thats what i'm thinking...

its not the hyper series..but just the regular speed bunch with a tad higher latency...

corsair's marketting guys prolly said...higher speed? we don't care bout latency...

sadly, that's what sells... the big number. Your run of the mill gamer could care less about low latency. We just have to sit back and wait for another $300+ kit to come out to be happy.
