just bought a new CPU I was looking at it close bro ....... but for the cash you might as well throw aother 100 bucks in for the 980x

But when the dust settled I ended up with a 960 ... needed a change for the 920, but could not swing the 970 or the 980x .......

2D Hardware is bismal for it, but hoping it will be a 5.1 to 5.2 3D chip on the SS

They are fun to play with. As soon as I am able I will give mine the full run down. I was benching almost to 5ghz on the ss, and cpuz hit around 5.2 easy as pie.

If I can recover my screenies I'll post them up, if not, I will have to make more when I can.

Yeah that's a little stupid priced for a locked CPU. Hell even for an unlocked CPU that is a stupid price. Come on Intel, lower your prices!!!

It should drop pretty quickly... wasn't the q6600 priced all crazy when it was released? Once intel realizes it isn't selling, it'll drop like a whore's panties.... a lot.
