Because i am a noob first and foremost and use an Asus board i think you mean QPI voltage....If not let me know...
The QPI voltage for anything over 4.6 with the Asus P6T7 and the 975 needs to be 1.56-1.58...I talked to a friend that said i would be good under 1.60....The 975 was demo also so if it fried it fried but is a strong soldier...
Also i should add that the Dominator GT 1866 ram is some great stuff..Running 1864 at 4.650 was killer..My cousin the GSkill salesman hardly speaks to me since switching but you just can't walk away from quality...
also i should add that the 975 is not as fast as the 920 was for me..Also takes much more voltage..I was having to run 1.53 at 4.6+ ...Goat and i played with going to a higher multi like Kal was running like a 31 and i can bring the voltage down and move up as far as speed but get a slower score..25 was the best....not sure why..still to green to understand some things...
The upside is the 975 seems to stay under 70c even running linX and you can't seem to hurt it.....
Hope i have come close to an answer....Thanks for looking at the benches..It was fun...Took a long time but fun....
I won't do anymore even if asked unless it is a version of fermi....
It sounds like you are getting something when you get a couple of these cards but it is time consuming..... I meant what i said..I keep your stuff printed in my binder..It has helped...LS/Jimmy
