SanDisk Warranty
Hey all!
I thought I'd let you know how easy it is to RMA a sandisk jump drive, my advice don't bother unless you have the receipt witch no one keeps, oh and you have to register it as well...................................

Dear Philip,
Thanks for contacting SanDisk Technical Support. It is our goal to make sure you have all the resources you need to get the most from your product.
I understand that your flash drive is not being detected by any computer anymore.
In this case, the drive would need to be replaced.
Please provide the below information so that we can verify the authenticity of your drive and register it for warranty purposes:
- Product code and serial number (please provide all the codes written on the product)
- Color of the drive
- Date of purchase (MM/DD/YYYY)
- Do you see the letter "R" or the word "Refurb/Refurbished" at the back of the product?
- How was the product packaged at the time of purchase?
- Please also provide clear photographs of the drive (back side and front side)
- Proof of purchase
- Physical damage (Yes/No)
- Complete address (no P.O Box please)
In case a replacement (RMA) is needed, we need to share your name and address with our shipping provider, to create a prepaid shipping label for your use. Do you agree to this?
Once the RMA gets approved you will receive two emails. First email will have the Return Instructions with the RMA# mentioned in it and the second email will have the link for the prepaid UPS Shipping label. Please print the label within 10 days as it will expire after that. Once you print the label you are -required to put the product in the padded envelope without any accessories, tape the label on top of it and take it to any UPS drop box or store. You can also use a UPS envelope available at most of the drop boxes and UPS Stores. Once we receive the product it will take 7-10 business days for processing before we ship out the new product.

Bottom line, not in my house!
I had photo's on my jump drive, of an old girl friend the drive failed. So I recovered the images myself with some software. The drive will not format, and I'm not spending more time than the drive is worth trying to find all that stuff...
