I hear ya, ........ pain and suffering

Tried it......though something has been updated in the main big package, lol, but the main drivers are still the same version, something like 8.9xxx, so essentially its still the same set of drivers......Did not test the earlier version thoroughly hence really cannot comment whether this brought any improvements but I will hazard a guess that it did not bring any improvements........

I will most likely never buy a new gpu again until its retail proven. They're all rip off's afaic. I've got burned for thousands via gpu's that are promoted via hwbot and super clocking results via binned gpus sent out to supposedly top overclockers by manufacturers. The fact/truth is those top overclockers arn't any better than most of us. they just have the equipment handed to them. Their spots at the top are not deserved.

I hear ya bro.......... I bought these for three reasons

1. I did not already have enough agrivation in my life so I decided to add some.... :laughing:
2. Minimize the blow to our Global team boints in hope to aleast not loose any ground until you top guys can get your hands on some high end non reference

3. Have some fun with latest and greatest

Now I am trying to find a local guy to cut me some copper shims since in their infanant wisdom the gpu is reccesed from the retaing ring :Dizzy:



Now you can't tell me they did not know this would screw anyone trying to use aftermarket cooling, even the water dudes are taking it up the a$$
