Need some expert advice about the latest and greatest water blocks.

Which one has the most mass. I mean in weight and size and which one cools the best.

Assuming all the blocks come with mouting for AMD and INTEL, I will use this on AMD systems mostly.

Rads. I really like 120.2 I usually cool the cpu only and has done really well for me in the past. But my Swifteck is old and needs replacement. Suggestions?

I run 1/2 inch outer dia and 3/8 inner. It's worked well and most HW stores carry Nylon clear, so I've always stuck with it.
Is there a decent type of tubing that doesn't get stiff while Chilling???

And finally res and pumps. I like big but not super expensive. Just need something that'll do the job for a long time.

I just got the new Swifty CPU WB that has 1 inlet and 3 outlets. Two of course are optional and to really use it you'd need watered cards, chipset, and ram since it's designed to run a parallel flow to all components and then loop everything back with the new swifty rad with 3 inlets and one outlet.

I bought it cause it's BLACK, and should look cool on my R3EBE :P Seriously, it's supposed to be less restrictive and more efficient than the swifty XT it replaces as the flagship. I always thought the XT was a piece of shit, so hope i didn't screw up again :argh:

EK Supreme has had some very positive reviews. For MASS, the Kryos HF full copper block is probably the biggest I've had but reviews just below the EK. Also, the Kryos mounting hardware ain't for shit.

I'll have a look at the Kryos HF. I figure more mass holds chilled temps better. And other blocks that are heavy?

What's the name of the new Swiftech block you got.

I have the GTZ block, those are pretty nice and they are EXTREMELY cheap :D

I have 2 or 3 GTZs... can't remember which. They are good blocks, they used to be great blocks :laughing: Hated teh swifty XT - got in a pissing match with Gabe over the "flawed design" :laughing: Kryos HF is a monster and does a nice job, only thing is most reviews I've read put the EK supreme ahead of it (despite it being uglier tahn hell :P ) Heat killers don't have universal mounts :thumbdown:

This black block is awesome looking. If it lives up to what the reviews say about it compared to the XT it should be a great block. I'll let you know as soon as I get it hooked up this week :D

@ Daawg - I'd be really interested in a couple of photos of how that block looks on your board.

I'll eventually be running this new loop on a Giga 990FXA for a daily driver, possibly after a Dice run or two. Thanks for the link btw!!

Dude! those damn HeatKiller water blocks are the perfect murdering weapon, the mass on it is just great! Kinda like the F1EE you wake a sum'bitch in the head, they'll be tuckered out in no time!!

How are these blocks for dis-assembly and cleaning??

What methods do some of you use? I've cleaned my current blocks with CLR and a wire brush.
