Anybody else heard of this? I have been playing around a little with linux lately and found this. It is supposed to work with NFTS (windows machines) too.

hehe I give up on linux man. I'm about to torch this install I have now and never look back. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to buying a pre-built NAS since I have some extra hw to use. Every damn guide I find assumes you already know everything. I can't count how many installs and screwed up configurations I've tried with buntu server edition. Either the damn guides are old as fudge and the commands don't work or the guides lack the finer details for a nub. Damn linux snobs.

Did you check that out? Doesn't look too simple to use BUT I guess it might work if you're in a pinch and need a freebie?? I'll stick to acronis myself.

Yah, I checked it out bro, looked interesting from a developmental standpoint but I'll always stick with Image for Dos :)
