AMD Help Please

OK so my ex-brother in law has just purchased a Antec 900 like mine.
He wants advice on AMD hardware, in which I know nothing.
He mainly plays World of Warcraft and other MMOs.
What can he get from the Egg to go AMD, do some mild over-clocking, and not break the bank?
Needs:
Mobo
RAM
GPU (not considering Xfire at this time)
Processor
CPU cooler
Power supply
Wants to do it all on air.
Thanks.

i think a price range would be good if he wants to spend only so much ;)

Yeah I concur.. budget is what he needs.

Budget is the AMD zone...

Lets you spend on GPU/PSU/Case.. but also depends on what he expects...

3-5 year board? OR something to tide him over... etc etc on everything...

Deets please.

Off the top of my head.. 1055T
890X board.
4GB ram.. 1600 range that can do 7 cas
600W PSU of good quality..

And depending on his preference gaming... 460 or 5850.

Since AMD chipset.. 5850.. with option to go dual in the future (not an option for 460) with a PSU upgrade...

Sorry overclockaholics web site is now blocked by the corporate internet filter at work.

He needs an AMD system that will last him 3 to 5 years.
Budget is $700

Been my experience that cpu overclock has little effect on online gaming. I would say get any reccomended AMD chip/mb combo and spend the bulk of your funds on the best video card affordable, be it ATI or Nvidia.
