Whats The "Hands Down Best" DDR2 For Benching
I have a set of Gksill HZs, 2x1Gb. They do pretty good, just shy of 1050Mhz 4-4-4-12 with 2.25v. Is there any other set, even 512mb or even 256Mb sticks (smaller is best I assume), that are better? Goal would be to have the set that does best timings at lower ram situations, and another for best high speed (and hopefully good timings too).
They would be used for 775 and AM2+. |

or if you can find some old school d9 ballistix 667 or buffalo firestix

Did D9s come in 512mb sticks? Im not really benching anything right now that requires high speed. The older E6300 I have is probably the highest FSB CPU I have. |
:D i still got my 2 sided ballistx 1066 or 33 i forgot wut speed they are lol

How about some old "fat body" D9s? DQT and DQWs.

I'm a Mushkin fan...
Mushkins are faster as long as you follow step 5 in the instructions... |
Not going to say its the BEST. I loved my blade series ram, but the price is DAMN hard to beat
http://www.thebestdealscheap.com/tec...0-p-19104.html $80 bucks for 5-5-5 1200MHz :) Sure you can drop that down to say 1000 4-4-4 |
I was just playing with my HZs a little bit, and got about 1020Mhz 4-4-3-8 with 2.4vdimm on AM2+.

The sticks I linked were 1.8v Not sure how well they respond to high voltage like that though. The micron D9GTR/GTX are about the best I have seen on DDR2 but they need 2.5-2.7 volts to hit 4-4-4 at 1200.:ohcrap: |
