ATI 9.12 Drivers are out
 
Here are the new drivers and also 9.12 non-beta for the 5970...

I will be trying them soon...

I heard the guys talking big boost with 5870's. Dunno about 5970's.

Also the hotfix is out for this driver too.

Doc, I notice that this hotfix is 2 times the size of the actual 9.12 drivers...Do you have to remove 9.12 and install this???

Also, I get this fail after firefly forest in 3D06...It must be driver related because it didn't happen with the 5870's...I can't find a fix for this. Does anyone know????

A box pops up after firefly forest, it says:
IDirect3D9:CreateDevice failed:
Invalid call(D3DERR_Invalidcall)

This does not happen in anything but 3D06....I think it means there is no support for directx9 but I am not sure....How is that possible? Does it mean a defective card????

Caught that a few times with the 5970, just re-booted and re-ran the bench.
