AfterburnerX with 5870 lightning
 

I downloaded the latest drivers for XP/win7 and the ABX version from the ftp, the Vcore is still locked at 1.35vgpu. Aslo thought that this card had Vmem control in AB??
Can anyone that has used these cards have some advice?

try changing the date to jjan 2010 or was it 11 :ohcrap:

Hey WD i tired that but is was still locking at 1.35Vgpu.
I've found someones extreme version of 1.5.0 didnt think id need to go that far back. Up to 1.6Vgpu core clock can go up to 1800mhz :clapping:

Was going to say I have the 1.5 ver.... Didn't know it was on the ftb XD

I still need to mod my cards and my cpu isn't the greatest :P

Which mods are thinking about doing Dom? Looked everywhere for hard mods but couldnt find shit your google-fu must be better haha.

Saw your cpu is around 6ghz better than my 5.5ghz on Dice.

I don't have any 5870's but got a lot of the green side that need vgpu mod... I couldn't find the 9800gtx+ one for the card I have

But the others I've had them before I sold them or killed them a while back lol

If anyone feels like sharing AB 1.5, I'd be eternally grateful. Guru3D's links are broken and I've got 2x watercooled HD5970's sitting here waiting to be benched.

FYI couldnt get ABX 1.5.0 to apply voltage changes with newer drivers, still need to do more data mining for the correct drivers to roll back to.

I'm sure there's an old thread that mentions driver version somewhere in the lightning benchmarks threads out there.

If memory Serves

AM, 01 & 03 = 9.12

Vantage = 10.3 (Crusty won the Dimas bench table with this beta)

05 & 06 = 10.5

Lol I just use what ever drivers I have dl on the usb stick XD

I use the ABE with the 4890 and it works but don't remember the drivers haha

you get voltage control wit a 4K series ................. sweet

Yeah even in the 4870 it let you set it higher just need to put them on cold.... One of these days haha

And I must have the worst clocking 5970's known to mankind..

Voltages appear to be set, but no way of knowing without read points.

Can't get anything over 800Mhz, can't even touch the memory. Cards are watercooled, temps are 15C max

ps you will want 5870 with haswell :P

weird gunny, must be sumtin else going on there.

Looking through a lot of the subs on hwbot i see people using 11.3 - 11.6 or older drivers. Havent yet tested to see if these are working with ABX 1.5
