Yummy and RED!!

Source Oh man that is nice for an 1866 kit. Nip that would look real good in your Classified fight12 |
Nice... And yes they would look good on the Classy.
|
That is really tight timings on 1866 ram. Definitely better than what Corsair is offering.
|
those are awesome!!!
|
The Corsair GT's are about the same timings, 7-6-7-20. I am pretty sure those are Samsung IC's. I personally prefer Elpida's over them now.

I meant 7-8-7-20. I dunno if those are Elpida's though.
|
Just confirmed they are Elpida's.

I'm a DDR3 2000 type of guy. If I had to chose I would prolly go with the Redline Ascent version as I am a lil more fond of the heatsink.
Mushkin Redline Ascent and the regular Mushkin Redline Thanks Chuchnit for makin me give the Redlines a 2nd look. Take a look at this thread now: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=226800 |
The redlines looks good.
|
This is my guess for the set at XS:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226037 The redlines look nice also though. Quote:

Might have to roll the dice on a set myself.

There is a 6GB set of the same stuff for $149.99 or so.
|
Redline Ascents inbound!
|
Awesome nip!! I've always like Mushkin. Plus FWIW, they are American made!!
|
I'm excited as I don't know of anyone to have them. I like being different from the crowd. I was trying to be different with the DFI mobo but had to get one of those Classy's as they are monsters!

1st impression of my new RAM pretty good. :D
This is the heaviest RAM I have ever held! |
I had a set of Ascent DDR2 1066 that wouldn't work at all in my P5Q Deluxe mobo but clocked like a monster in an IP35 Pro.

He bought these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226059
But these are the same with different heat spreaders: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226058 Way cheaper than corsair and such. |
Here is a teaser. I am pretty sure I can get the latency down just a little and maybe the volts. DIMM volts are 1.65 and vtt is 1.35. Sorry there isn't more to this but I am so busy with two jobs now that with my free time I am trying to sleep. A full review to come as well as my Classy review.
