Well I wrote them an email back saying that sending it back to the manufacturer for repair wasn't an option and that I didn't pay for a brand new mobo just to have it repaired out the gate. They wrote me back and clarified that DFI has a facility in California but that they wouldn't be sending it there and sending it back to me but that they would either send me a new one or refund my money. I told them to refund my money. Going with the egg this time. Will post back when more details come in.

Here is there email. Hopefully I can get a reund. All else fails a new mobo.
Travis- DFI has a facility in California. It has to go to them as they are going to have to give our money back as well. We were not planning on trying to repair the board that was damaged. I will do the RMA for new replacement or credit/refund, whichever you prefer but it does have to go back through them especially if it is damaged. I have sent an email already, they are not open until 12 est. I expect to hear back shortly after that. If all options are possible, do you want to do the refund? Thank you Melissa www.MotherboardPro.com |

Oh we'll create a thread but I have to wait to see if they clean this up. So far it looks to be that way. This morning though it didn't.

I get the impression that they would have just screwed you if they could have.....even attempting that kind of thing is BS. The need to be posted in the Hall of Shame so they pay a price for attempting that kind of crap.
That is just the opinion of a mean old bastard though.... |

I agree, a hall of shame for retailers that is externally viewable would be a fine thing. |
