No this is the first time I've used TinyXP in awhile.....was using Lite. I'll try another theme next. But I can't understand why I can't get near that score again?

I can't believe I figured I could beat that because it was the first try.pullhair

Mine boots pretty slow, should I raise TRFC?

EDIT: pullhairpullhairpullhairpullhairpullhairNow it's not exact in round and I haven't changed anything...and the temp is actually a little colder.

Might have just borked the OS a bit as Splave mentioned earlier. If you use OS images I would flash the drive and try again.

ny_driver 04-11-2011 04:21 PM

Yeah, it's crossed my mind. Probably do that now.

You think I screwed it up with 78 tRFC?

ny_driver 04-12-2011 07:32 AM

Wow reinstalled everything and still can't even get close to 7m 14.890sec. 2 stinking seconds off still.
This is fun.

Splave 04-12-2011 08:33 AM

dude you should be using olive theme anyways :) cuts time

Also LSC enabled?

ny_driver 04-12-2011 09:34 AM

LSC=1 yes.
I only have classic and standard color schemes on my Tiny rev09. Do I have to install it a certain way to get that?
I did bare with added driverpacks this time(option#7).

EDIT: everything is now reinstalled. I did option #3 non-bare etc and I have the olive theme. My ssd has been reformatted and everything is all set up nice and neat. My waza partition is on a seperate sata drive like normal. Nothing extra installed - just chipset & display drivers, spi, snapshot, cpuz, realtemp, and a couple pics for the DT background.

If I can't beat or equal the 7min14.890sec I got 2 days ago with the classic theme, I'm going to continue trying forever until I do.:keeporder:

2 questions.......or 3

What happened to the other half of my physical memory seen by task manager? I'm using the same hardware.
Only thing different is the way I installed TinyXP. I did option 3 for the olive theme instead of option 7(bare).

And why does waza sometimes just not work at all?
It was working until I installed dotnet 2.0, and I only installed that because I know I had it on the 7min14.890sec run.

Do I need dotnet for 2d?

Thanks for the help.

count the decimal places mate ;) 10 in olive 9 in classic.

My guess is you havent set max mem to 600 yet in olive. Also did you set pagefile to 512-512 on wazza partition and off on superpi partition :Hi:

PS Read recovery timing cuts a huge chunk ;)

ny_driver 04-13-2011 06:22 AM

 ohh I see now. So the # is 4x what it is in classic, I definitely don't understand that one.

Already set maxmem, but only 512 by mistake. I set the paging file to 512-512 on the spi partition always, and I didn't know anything about setting it on the waza partition.
Thanks for the tips Splave.

Geez I had things more screwed up than I thought, how the hell did I get that score? :Dizzy:

Splave 04-13-2011 06:36 AM

super pi partition set page file to none
wazza partition will show up and set it to manual 512-512

This is in system, performance, advanced, page file :) just click on your wazza partition drive letter from the box and set the page file you can access it even if you dont have an install on it this way
