Gotta go to work now - I'll mess with it later.

Which usb ports do you have it plugged in? Might be a option in bios to enable/disable usb keyboard & mouse.

Worth a shot if you have not already tried it

Luckily I was able to snag a PS/2 keyboard and mouse from work. Finally got some cooperation with a PS/2 keyboard-USB mouse combo. I thought I had seen some OS installs from hell, but I swear I had Satan straddled on my shoulders on this one. I am not liking this set-up right now...feel like if I had gone with my original pick of a Gigabyte mb I would have been benching by now.

Anyway, I havent wrapped my head around this completely yet. Still have to flash these cards and check on a mb bios update. The Asus bios flash utility appears to be worthless so far. I'll keep pounding on it until I figure something out.

Good info man. Don't trip. Many were tricked into these mobos with eufi's thinking they would be better. Glad I have a PS2 keyboard and mouse incase I run into this problem tonight.

HITandRUN 01-21-2011 02:42 AM

Great to see you progressing. I always use PS2 stuff since I ran into this problem before on a Gigabyte board.
