ADATA has put out some screamin RAM. I just wish I could get my hands on some. I just hope they put a disclaimer with this so some idiot won't be over at some other noobish forum asking why he can get his to run 2200MHZ prime stable for 8 hours. Somethin like "Don't buy if you are an idiot, nooobish or think it is as simple as plug and play at 2200MHz on air!!!"

Seems a bit early for P55, suppose they just want to be first.

I'll be interested to see how these play at Cas6 as they are one of the few dual channel kits that should be Hyper.

Can anything but an i7 actually be effected by RAM this speed?

I mean, can AMD or C2_ actually utilize that kind of bendwidth yet?

Reason I ask is because it is sold only in dual channel kits, saw no mention of triple channel.

(And I do not think that AMD can run that high a Mem speed period, Chew is running 1800+ now, and the thread made it seem like a big deal that it was that fast on an AMD system...)

@neuro- I think its meant for P55 chipset... which is dual channel but should be able to achieve high speeds. I have hit 2200 8-7-6-18 on my 790i with a 8600, so some C2D can utilize it.

@Kal- I dont think ADATA can sell in north america. Its mainly available in Asia with some Euro stores getting a few kits here and there.

Are they going to be available in the US. There other 2133 kit can't be found here or at least I couldn't find it.

A-DATA has grown so much lately....after the excellent 2133 Version 2.0 X series, we now have these 2.2 GHZ CL8??? Wonderful news!!!
