Microsoft (http://www.techpowerup.com/#) Corp. today announced the release to manufacturing (RTM) of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, the next versions of its flagship desktop and server operating systems (http://www.techpowerup.com/#). With the completion of this development phase, industry partners are readying products in time for the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 worldwide general launches. Windows 7 will be generally available to customers around the world on October 22, and Windows Server 2008 R2 will be generally available on or before that date. As always, current customers of the Windows Volume Licensing program, Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) subscribers and TechNet subscribers will be among the first to get customer access to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 in the coming weeks.

I've seen it - it looks..."ready". Unfortunately, we can't find any pre-order copy in Greece...I would love to buy the Pro edition...

To be honest I'm very satisfied from the RC's of windows 7. For sure one of the best OSes the last years! Yeah Pro edition seems very attractive:)

Already installed x86 on the bench rig. Going to swap it over to the bench station in a few minutes. Should have an opportunity to run some 2d benches tonight :)

Please try windows7+32M(spi v1.6) and then try winXP+32M(spi v1.5) and then compare these 2 results!

Will do.

Will have to reinstall though I used one partition on my raptor :p Already planned a small XP install and Vista on my other rig so I could bench (xp) it as well, but forgot about the bench rig lol
