Starting this thread to get a feel from users about the differences between kneeded eraser manufacturers/brands.
-What brand do you use? Link it
-Is it more or less maliable (soft or difficult to mold?)
-Difficult to remove after extended sub-zero sessions
-Needs to be heated a lil to easily remove from the motherboard
-Any other observations, conclusions you've drawn from comparing brands
-Its cheap and it works......

I use General's and you can pick it up at the cash registers at Hobby Lobby.
-Is it more or less mailable (soft or difficult to mold?)
It is like play-do but with a little harder feel to it.
-Difficult to remove after extended sub-zero sessions
Removal is a breeze. Usually comes off in several pieces but nothing too tough.
-Needs to be heated a lil to easily remove from the motherboard
Haven't tried heating it.
-Any other observations, conclusions you've drawn from comparing brands
This is the only brand I have tried.

It is cheap though the price went from $1.39 to $1.69 still cheap.

Same stuff as I use. Tho I think just about any brand of the kneaded eraser should work fine.

There are other brands at Hobby Lobby but you get less for the same if not more price. That is what is the deciding factor for me.

General - Buy it from: http://www.michaels.com/art/online/home

Very easy to mold. Just break apart several times.
-Difficult to remove after extended sub-zero sessions
Never had a problem
-Needs to be heated a lil to easily remove from the motherboard
Actually found colder is better for removal
-Any other observations, conclusions you've drawn from comparing brands
Pretty much same. General seems to be sold locally for me.
-Its cheap and it works......
Fantastic insulation product. Much easier than greasing the board and cleaning.
