I'm picking up a huge box of Dice today from my "Sponsor", lol, should count as phase, just gotta keep scooping or jack up the clocks to ludicrous speed.

Yeah I love the P4 stuff! I have some benching coming up this weekend as a matter of fact. Which board are you using for this fun? I found the EP45T-UD3P a solid performer when benching the 775 P4's. Here is also a link (http://www.blazingpc.com/forum/showthread.php/hitandruns_ln2_adventures-17140/index.html?t=17140) to my LN2 benching thread at my home forum in case someone cares to check it out. :D

Just use the device manager. Select what has a "!" and say update drivers and point it to the CD.
There are some on the the CD that you will not need.

It's been awhile that I had that all up and running, trying to remember what those were for.

That is what nlite is for. Integrate service packs and crap all in one swoop. Then cut it down within an inch of its life. Then take the whopping 10 minutes it'll take to reinstall each time. cool2
Honestly though, I'm lazy too and just started benching w/o internet. I can thank crio and his uber 01 scores for making me less lazy and actually nliting my OS. :clapping:

Ya just like your check too :rofl:rofl
You want a copy for real? I still need to find more things to cut out. Right now I'm at 190mb on my copy w/o internet. I wanna have it around 100mb flat in the end. I just gotta figure out what benches like what tweaks so I can have one for each bench ready to install.

I'll second the rep points. I already sent you one stripped version though. From doing some reading though. Different benches like different tweaks/services. I can send you a copy of what I used for 01 if you'd like??? I really wanna make one for super pi. to_keep_order

O.k. wenches, send me ur best of breed bench os's and label them accordingly so I know which is which. I'll then host them on the site server for Hwbot Members and Premium Subscribers to download as they wish.

That's a great idea! This way everybody can brainstorm a copy and see what else needs to be cut out!

Use the ASUS OC Utility thats on the disk. You can change vcore and FSB with that. I did not use SetFSB at all.
The PCMark05 screen is from a different chip but you can see the OC utility there.

Just another tip that I found while benching those chips.
As you can see they came from Wired Stuff, or most did anyway. I have no idea where they came from, or how long they sat idle. That place is a recycling place to they came from just about anywhere.
When I would start to bench a new chip jammimg the OC and vcore up right off the bat was not a good idea. What I did was start them out at stock at run Prime for a few hours, then slowly start upping the OC. I would get the best results doing it that way.
On my Chilly1 Phase they hardly touched the temps on it as they have little heat output. I do not know what the cold bug on those chips is.

I'm a tinsy bit frustrated today. Since my last session didn't yield the clocks I was looking for and towards the end of the previous session I noticed that it was a bit more stable with more air flow over the nb, I decided to rip the passive h/s and slap a nb dice pot on it. Well, after lotso prep and picking up yet another load of DICE. I have a non-video board. I reversed the simple v-mod on the gpu and tried everything to get some video going but no-joy. I'm gonna look into another agp card and possibly another s478 board so these many chips and hw boints don't go to waste.
Here's a couple shots from today's unproductive setup.
